Lizzy’s panties come down easy
She never wanted to be that way
Without the rock she gets so queasy
That pipe gets Lizzy through the day.

She’s not a bad girl as they go
She studied for the ministry
Learned Mandarin but Jeffrey Soo
Winged Lizzy into chemistry

They made so much they could retire
Then Jeff got traded and they lost
The hook made her a girl for hire
A self-served bullet made Jeff toast

The streets are cold and have no love
Unless that mouth goes south for ten
Sometimes just five to stay above
Alive but just by tooth and skin

Liz was to be a missionary
Now that’s not even her position
No one wants skank, even fairies
Receive a better manumission.

The cops toss her in midnight clink
The preacher offers Thanksgiving
She throws it up into the sink,
His scorn empathic: Why’s she living?

She stuck a needle in her arm
And raised her final praise to He
Receive me now, I pray no harm,
Dear Jesus! Give me back to thee.

Note: This was a really hard poem to write. I hope it hurts you as much as it hurt me. Please pray and care for those you don't understand. Obviously, the theme is suicide, which we typically think is selfish. Sometimes it is the last prayer to God.
